As we all move into the new year it means many people will be putting the finishing touches on their New Year’s resolutions. Of course, there are the standard resolutions that seem to stick around year after year. According to USA.gov some of the most popular resolutions include to stop smoking, drink less alcohol, lose weight and save money.

We would like to suggest that you consider adding life insurance to the top of your list. Life insurance is a valuable New Year’s resolution for anyone, but especially for those that have encountered any major changes during 2011. Such changes would include the birth of a child, a new college student, loss of job or perhaps a job promotion that increased your pay. Of course, if you managed to fulfill last year’s resolution and are now living a healthier life you have another great reason to purchase a new life insurance policy. With your new healthier status most life insurance providers are able to offer huge discounts in premiums. Couple this with the fact that life insurance prices have been dropping over the last few months, it may be the perfect time to create a “life insurance resolution” and purchase a policy in 2012.

Happy New Year
